  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese melts beautifully and adds cheesy goodness.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved, for a pop of color and freshness.

Equipment

Method

  1. Step 1: Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the crumbled bacon and ranch seasoning mix. Mix well to combine; the smell will be amazing!
  4. Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked penne pasta, shredded cheddar cheese, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Stir until everything is well combined and the cheese is melted.
  6. Step 6: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, if needed. Taste as you go; it should be just right!
  7. Step 7: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving for that extra flair.

Notes

Leftovers? No problem! Place any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. It will last for about 3-4 days. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave, adding a splash of chicken broth to loosen up the sauce.
