- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature is key for that crispy finish.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss everything until the wings are evenly coated.
- Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the rack.
- Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
- Step 5: Remove the wings from the oven and brush them generously with honey BBQ sauce.
- Step 6: Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Step 7: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
