- Step 1: In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until they are fine crumbs. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and peanut butter, mixing until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Step 3: Spread the cream cheese and peanut butter mixture evenly over the Oreo crust in the baking dish.
- Step 4: In another mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until thickened. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to set.
- Step 5: Pour the vanilla pudding over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
- Step 6: Spread the remaining 1 cup of whipped topping over the pudding layer for a smooth finish.
- Step 7: Cover the dish with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Step 8: Before serving, garnish with crushed peanuts or chocolate shavings if desired. Cut into squares and enjoy your delicious peanut butter lasagna!
