Ingredients

For the Beef and Broccoli
  • 1 lb flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Equipment

  • Blackstone Griddle
  • Bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Mix well and add the sliced flank steak. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Heat the Blackstone griddle over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and let it heat up.
  3. Step 3: Once the oil is hot, add the marinated flank steak to the griddle. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the griddle and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same area of the griddle, add the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Step 5: Push the broccoli to one side of the griddle, and in the cleared space, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Step 6: Return the cooked beef to the griddle and mix everything together. Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.
  7. Step 7: Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy your delicious, easy beef and broccoli dish!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just reheat in a skillet or microwave. You can also freeze it for up to a month, but I recommend keeping the broccoli separate to preserve its texture.
