Ingredients
  

For the Tiramisu Cups
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur optional
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 pieces ladyfinger cookies
For Dusting and Garnish
  • unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
  • dark chocolate shavings for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a shallow bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Set it aside to allow the flavors to mingle.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Step 3: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
  4. Step 4: In serving cups or glasses, layer the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom.
  5. Step 5: Add a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top of the ladyfingers.
  6. Step 6: Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, ending with a layer of the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Step 7: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  8. Step 8: Before serving, dust the tops with unsweetened cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings if desired.

Notes

These delightful cups can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just make sure to cover them well to keep the flavors fresh!
