Ingredients

For the Edible Aquarium Terrariums
  • 1 package blue gelatin for the water effect
  • 1 package green gelatin for seaweed
  • 1 package clear gummy fish or candy to swim in the aquarium
  • 1 package crushed graham crackers for the sandy ocean floor
  • 1 package sour gummy worms for fun sea creatures
  • 1 package edible flowers or mint leaves for color and freshness
  • small edible decorations like candy fish or chocolate rocks (optional)

Method

  1. Step 1: Prepare the blue and green gelatin according to package instructions. For blue, use a clear cup to create the water effect, pour halfway and set in the refrigerator for about 4 hours or until firm.
  2. Step 2: Once blue gelatin is set, prepare the green gelatin in a separate mold and allow it to firm up in the refrigerator.
  3. Step 3: Crush the graham crackers to create a sand-like texture for the aquarium base.
  4. Step 4: Remove the blue gelatin from the cups, layer crushed graham crackers in a clear cup, and carefully place the blue gelatin on top.
  5. Step 5: Cut the green gelatin into strips for seaweed and insert them into the blue gelatin.
  6. Step 6: Decorate with clear gummy fish and add sour gummy worms to create an appealing underwater scene.
  7. Step 7: Top off the aquarium with edible flowers or mint leaves and sprinkle with small edible decorations for added effect.
  8. Step 8: Serve and enjoy this fun and creative dessert with friends and family!
