Ingredients
  

For the Egg Boil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 sausages sausage choose your favorite flavor
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

  • Bowl for Ice Water

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 9-12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Once done, remove the eggs and place them in a bowl of ice water to cool.
  2. Step 2: While the eggs are cooling, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Remove the sausage from its casing and add it to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Once the sausage is cooked, sprinkle in the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half. Arrange the sausage mixture on a serving plate and place the halved eggs on top, cut side facing up.
  5. Step 5: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

This dish can be prepped in advance; just reheat the sausage mixture before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
