- Step 1: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to create little sandwiches.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Step 3: Dip each Hawaiian roll into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Let them soak for a few seconds.
- Step 4: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Step 5: Place the soaked rolls in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Step 6: Remove the French toast from the skillet and serve hot, drizzled with maple syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze the French toast for up to a month.
