Ingredients

For the Crust
  • 1 package Nilla Wafers 14 oz
For the Filling
  • 1 package cream cheese softened, 8 oz
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
  • 1 package instant banana pudding mix 3.4 oz
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas sliced
  • 1 container whipped topping 8 oz, like Cool Whip
For Garnish
  • Additional Nilla Wafers
  • Banana slices

Equipment

  • 9-inch Pie Dish
  • Large Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Step 1: In a 9-inch pie dish, arrange a layer of Nilla Wafers on the bottom and sides to form a crust. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, mixing until well combined.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  4. Step 4: Fold the banana pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth.
  5. Step 5: Pour half of the banana pudding filling into the prepared crust. Add a layer of sliced bananas on top, then pour the remaining filling over the bananas. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Step 6: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Step 7: Before serving, garnish with additional Nilla Wafers and banana slices if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

To keep your pie fresh, cover it tightly with plastic wrap or foil and store it in the refrigerator. It can last for about 3 to 4 days, but trust me, it won’t last that long!
