Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until it's all smooth and well combined.
  3. Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the peanut butter mixture and mix until everything is nicely blended.
  4. Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  6. Step 6: Gently fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they're evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Step 7: Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Step 8: Bake for 25-30 minutes. You'll know they are done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Step 9: Once baked, allow the bars to cool in the pan before cutting them into squares. Enjoy!
