- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Step 3: Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Step 4: In a separate bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this scrumptious mixture over the cake batter.
- Step 5: Add the remaining cake batter on top of the peanut butter mixture, making sure it covers it well.
- Step 6: Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups evenly over the top.
- Step 7: Using a spatula or knife, gently swirl the peanut butter mixture into the cake batter.
- Step 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Step 9: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
