  • Salt and pepper to taste always adjust to your liking
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) adds a pop of color and freshness

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • 9x13-inch Baking Dish
  • Large Bowl

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Step 3: In a skillet, sauté the minced garlic over medium heat until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Step 4: In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Step 5: Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Step 6: Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the seafood mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Step 7: Repeat the layering process with another 3 lasagna noodles, the remaining seafood mixture, marinara sauce, and half of the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  8. Step 8: Top with the final 3 lasagna noodles, the rest of the marinara sauce, the remaining mozzarella cheese, and the grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Step 9: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Step 10: Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
