Method
- Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the asparagus and mushrooms, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Return the shrimp to the skillet and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine and heat everything through.
- Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 7: Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
